There seems to be a romantic food connection here. Last night I ate dinner at a place called "In Love" near the Thewet pier. Unfortunately, I was not 'in love' with the food, but it did have a nice view of the Rama VIII bridge, which combines modern structural engineering with a silly Thai gold crown.
There is also a place on Phra Arthit Road which calls itself a "Lovetaurant". I plan to stay away from that one.
